One of my greatest inspirations is mother nature.
Sometimes I feel as though she is communicating with me.
Shining her light on a subject in front of me
and making the colors glow and dance in light and shadow.
Something as simple as a stone wall. Each stone is faceted
with a multitude of colors created by a variety of minerals in the earth.
Each color reacting to a different wavelength of light.
I love the challenge of trying to mimic nature
and capture expressions.
These reliefs I create are an interaction of human and nature.
